The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of WA (CME) is delighted to invite you to be a sponsor of the 2024 Inspiring Girls Careers Forum.
The Inspiring Girls Careers Forum is a unique careers event designed to showcase the resources industry to female secondary school students (years 10-12).
Held annually at Optus Stadium, the event attracts 200 students accompanied by 30 - 40 teachers.
The Inspiring Girls Careers Forum sponsorship package includes:
• A table of eight people consisting of:
- Two representatives from your company
- Up to five students and one teacher from a WA based school.
• Opportunity to host an exhibition booth, promote your company and distribute branded materials to students.
• Opportunity for your company representatives to address students during the speed careering session.
• Complimentary morning tea for all attendees
Event Schedule:
9.00am – 9.30am Registration/expo
9.30am – 10.45am Guest speaker & activities
10.45am – 11.30am Morning tea/expo
11.30am – 1.10pm Guest speaker & activities
1.10pm – 1.15pm Event concludes
Participating in the forum will provide an opportunity to:
• Increase awareness of the range and diverse university and VET career pathways available in the resources sector.
• Promote the benefits and opportunities for females working in the resources sector.
• Build networks and mutually-beneficial partnerships between industry and school communities.
During the forum students will have the opportunity to:
• Hear inspiring, female, industry guest speakers.
• Participate in a fun, hands-on, resources related activity.
• Take part in a ‘speed careering’ session with multiple resource companies; and
• Interact with industry representatives.
Sponsorship Packages:
Inspiring Girls Sponsorship - includes one exhibition booth space and hosting a school on a table of 8, and 2 company representatives - $1350 + GST
Additional Table of 8 - only available if the primary sponsorship package above is purchased, for 2 x company representatives 2nd table - $650 + GST
Extra exhibitor representative - for additional staff assisting at the exhibition booth (optional) - $40 + GST
