Women in Mining & Resources Summit

Welcome to the 6th Annual Women in Mining & Resources Summit

As the mining industry continues to evolve, the inclusion of diverse talents, particularly the integration of women into various roles, remains paramount. It’s with that that we are beyond pleased to extend an invitation to join us in Boorloo, Perth, from Tuesday 23 to Wednesday 24 July, where you’ll be surrounded by inspiring leaders, both emerging and established, at the sixth annual Women in Mining & Resources Summit.

The WA Mining Club is proud to partner with the Women Leaders Institute to deliver the summit, where 10% of event proceeds will be donated to our charity partner Voice of Hope, which was established to connect incarcerated Aboriginal women with services and support, with a focus on enabling women to reintegrate into the community, family, and the workforce.

Following the theme, “Digging Deeper & Breaking Ground – Leading Tomorrow’s Future”, this gathering not only celebrates but actively promotes the increasing participation of women in the mining and resource sector, and the progress, although gradual, has been notable.

The WA Mining Club has been a steadfast advocate for this shift, recognising early on, that supporting women in mining and resources enriches the entire industry.

By championing diversity, we are not only enhancing the mining sector but are also setting a standard for industries worldwide. Let this summit be a reminder of our commitment and our progress, and may it inspire continued growth and innovation in the pursuit of equality.

As we look to the future, the WA Mining Club remains dedicated to supporting and promoting women in mining, driven by the belief that our industry thrives when it truly represents the world around us.
